Volunteers for Ukraine

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re a group of volunteers with experience in non-profits, military, public service, law and international travel. We came together with the united mission to help organize support for the Ukrainian people. We’re located in the U.S. as well as abroad. We’ve worked our connections to build a united front for individuals looking to arrive in Ukraine and neighboring countries for support efforts.

We are constantly working with the ever-changing dynamics on the ground to provide transportation, guidance and point of contacts for foreign volunteers heading to Ukraine through Poland. We also provide team support; we’ll work to put you with a team of peers that can aid in acclimation. We’ll keep in touch throughout your journey and help connect you to services, support, and supplies.

We are accepting individual monetary donations here, and we are also accepting airline miles to support our requests for transportation support. If you have airline miles to contribute, please complete this form.

If you’re ready, willing, and able to contribute to the vast humanitarian effort in Ukraine, we welcome you to fill out our form for getting involved and we’ll be in touch.

Please check back often for updates on ways you can contribute.

If we have not made contact yet, please fill out our form for Getting Involved. We’d like to coordinate your travels with other volunteers to better aid everyone, in and out of Ukraine.

Everything changes from day-to-day, hour-to-hour in an active war zone. We connect you with individuals who are verified and committed to supporting the effort on the ground, as well as staying in touch with the most up-to-date information our contacts can provide.

Make sure your affairs are in order. You should have a will and your estate planned in the event of an emergency. This is an active war zone and the threats are unpredictable. You should also have an active passport as well as documentation for international travel. Ukraine, however, has suspended visas for foreign support. You should also plan to bring at least $1,000 in U.S. dollars for immediate needs and incidentals. Do not plan to just rely on credit or debt cards – they may not work when you need them.

Individuals who have had their credentials verified by our organization can expect to receive a packing list and supporting information as well as travel support.
